Selection of Stamping Oil

Stamping oil plays an important role in the stamping process. Good heat dissipation performance and high pressure and wear resistance – can qualitatively increase the life of the mold and improve the precision of the workpiece. The performance of stamping acro metal stamping is different, depending on the material of the workpiece.

1. Silicon steel sheet is a relatively easy-to-penetrate material. Generally, for cleaning the workpiece, low-viscosity drilling oil – is selected to prevent burrs from drilling.

2. When selecting stamping oil for carbon steel sheet, the best viscosity should be considered according to the difficulty of the process, the method of feeding the drawing oil, and the degreasing process.

3. Since galvanized steel sheet will react chemically with chlorine-containing additives – stamping parts, the possibility of white rust in the chlorine-containing stamping oil should be considered when selecting stamping oil.

4. Stainless steel sheet is a material prone to hardening, and high-strength oil film and anti-sintering oil are required. Generally, stamping parts suppliers use stamping oil with chlorine-containing additives – to ensure the highest pressure performance, while avoiding problems such as burrs and cracks in the workpiece.
